An Inconvenient Truth, released in November 2006 is a documentary presented by Al Gore, a former United States vice president. When I first watched this documentary, I was dumbstruck. I thought: Wow, are things really this bad? With all the graphs, statistics, future trends based on educated calculations, scenes of lakes and ice caps disappearing -- I was, to say the least, nothing short of devastated.

An Inconvenient truth caused me to become acutely interested in what's happening in the world, how we're treating this planet and how the world system operates as a whole. So I began researching everything I possibly could. However, I didn't stop at climate issues. To gain a full understanding of what's actually going on, I looked into everything that could possibly be related to such a massive degradation of our planet and cross examined that information with everything I've already learned in life.
